Carneys Point, NJ. – Dante Brinkley scored 22 points to help the Salem Community College men's basketball team to a 80-52 win over Lehigh Carbon Community College in Region 19 action at the DuPont fieldhouse.  With the win the Mighty Oaks move to 1-1 on the season.

Brinkley lead an offense for the Mighty Oaks that saw four Salem players score in double figures.  Taje'e Jordon had a solid game with his first double-double of the season with 11 points while hauling in 10 rebounds.  Niame Scott continued is scoring ways dropping 16 on the day going 5 for 6 from field while going 3 for 3 from beyond the three pint line.  Sophomore Austin Ruth added 11 points while Enrique Ramos scored 10 to round out the Mighty Oaks scoring in double figures.

The Mighty Oaks are back at home at the DuPont fieldhouse Tuesday November 21 when they will host Garden State Athletic Conference foe Ocean County College. Tip off is slated for7:00PM
