Arnold, MD. – The Salem Community College women's basketball team got back into the win column with a victory over Anne Arundel Community College Club. With the win the Mighty Oaks move to 7-8 on the season.
Salem was led by Nyaijah Jackson with a season and career high 21 points shooting 9 for 18 from the field. She was followed by sophomore guard Maggie St.Clair with 14 points. Jakayla Jenkins was dominant on the glass pulling down a team high 10 rebounds.
The women will be back on the court Saturday January 18 for a Region 19 showdown, when they travel to Essex Community College. Tip off is scheduled for 12:00 on the campus of ECC.
