Carneys Point. NJ. – The Salem Community College women's basketball team dropped a tough conference contest to the nationally ranked Union County College Owls 113-48. 

Freshman guard Maggie St.Clair scored a season high 22 points for the Mighty Oaks.  St.Clair has a strong night offensively going 8-12 from the field while shooting 6-8 from beyond the three point line.  Also scoring in double figures for Salem was Carly Santimaw who added 13 points for SCC.  Caroline Zullo led the way on the glass for the Mighty Oaks with 6 rebounds.

Up next for Salem will be Lehigh Carbon Community College.  The Mighty Oaks will travel to LCCC with a slated tip off of 5:00PM Thursday January 25.
