Carneys Point, NJ. – Katheryn Laurence scored 20 points, hitting six three pointers, to lead the Salem Community College women's basketball team to a 81-44 win over Ocean County College.  With the win the Mighty Oaks move to 7-5 on the season.

A balanced offense by the Mighty Oaks saw five players score in double figures led by Laurence.  Maggie St.Clair scored 18 going 9-17 from the field.  Caroline Zullo registered a double-double scoring 10 points and hauling in 11 rebounds.  Rounding out the Mighty Oaks in double figures were Alexa Hopkins with 13 points and Jakayla Jenkins with 12 points.

Salem will be on the road Tuesday January 16 when they will face off against the County College of Morris in Region 19 action.  Tip off is scheduled for 5:00PM.
