Women’s Basketball Falls Short to Middlesex College, 82-63

Carneys Point, NJ. – Despite a balanced scoring effort by the Salem Community College women's basketball team, the Mighty Oaks fell to Region 19 opponent Middlesex College 82-63.  With the loss, Salem falls to 4-2 on the season, 1-2 in conference play.

The Mighty Oaks offense saw four women score in double figures led by Maggie St.Clair with 16 points.  St.Clair shot a very solid 7 for 11 from the field for the game.  Also in double figures were Sydney Hopkins with 13 points, Kathryn Laurence with 11 points and Caroline Zullo with 10 points.  Carly Santimaw led the Mighty Oaks on the glass with 5 rebounds.

Salem will continue with Region 19 opponents when they will host Harcum College. Tip off is slated for 5:00 Tuesday December 5 at the DuPont Fieldhouse on the campus of Salem Community College
