Cranford, NJ. – The Salem Community College women's basketball team lost it's first game of the 2023/24 season Saturday the Garden State Athletic Conference opponent Union County College.

The Mighty Oaks were led in scoring by Sydney Hopkins with 12 points for the game.  Also scoring double figures for SCC was Maggie St.Clair who added 10 while leading the team in rebounds with 8.

Salem will be back in action on Thursday November 30 when they face off against the County College of Philadelphia. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00
