Sewell, NJ. – The Salem Community College softball team dropped a double-header to RCSJ- Gloucester 13-5 and 11-3. With the loses the Mighty Oaks fall to 9-7 on the season.
Game 1
Gloucester scored late to down the Mighty Oaks, Taking the loss for Salem was freshman pitcher Raegan Wilson. At the plate for SCC, Jocelyn Melendez led the way going 2 for 3 with a double and a RBI. Tiana Wilson also had a solid day going 2 for 2 with a triple and 3 RBI. Also with a multi-hit day was Ella Hayes going 2 for 3 on the day.
Game 2
The Mighty Oaks dropped game two 11-3. Jill Robinson took the loss for Salem pitching a complete game. The offense was led by Bella Rappa 3 for 3 with a double and a RBI. Tiana Wilson continued to hit going 1 for 1 with an RBI and a double.
Up next for Salem is conference opponent the County College of Morris. The Mighty Oaks will travel to CCM on Saturday March 29 for their 12:00 double header.
