Sicklerville, NJ. – The Salem Community College men's soccer team dropped a tough conference game to Camden County College, 4-1, in Region 19 play.  The loss marks the first for the Mighty Oaks in the last five games, having won four straight.

The Mighty Oaks lone score was from Patrick Oliveira , when he beat the Camden keeper at the 39th minute of the match.  This was Oliveira's fifth goal of the season.  Brandon Castillo tallied the assist for SCC.

The loss moves the Mighty Oaks record to 4-4 at the halfway point of the 2022 season.  SCC will look to rebound and make a strong push in the second half, as they look to qualify for the Region 19 post season for the second consecutive season.

Salem will be back at home when the Skylanders from Sussex County Community College make the trip south to Mighty Oaks country, Saturday October 1 with a kick off of 1:00PM.  With the possibility of inclement weather, please stay up to date via our social media outlets and here at www.sccmightyoaks.com.
