Mighty Oaks Offense Explodes Against The Dukes, 114-56

Carneys Point, NJJoshua Ramos scored a career high 26 points, with four Mighty Oaks registering double-doubles, to lead the Salem Community College men's basketball team to a 114-56 win over RCSJ-Cumberland.  The Mighty Oaks improve to 10-4 on the season and 7-2 in Region 19 play.

Ramos led the team going 8-15 from the three point line. Rodney Shelton and Ahmodrion Jones both added 17 points for the Mighty Oaks. Both had a double-double with Shelton pulling down 13 rebounds and Jones with 10. Tyrese Fortune added 14 points going a perfect 6 for 6 from the foul line an grabbing 10 rebounds.  Xavier Brewington had a team high 14 rebounds while scoring 13 point for Salem.  Dontarius Jones was the last of the Mighty Oaks scoring in double figures scoring 11 points shooting 4 for 5 from the field. The Mighty Oaks as a team shot 46 percent from the field for the game.

Salem enters the holiday break as the first team since the restart of the program with 10 wins.  They will be back in the new year when they face off against Region 19 opponent Camden County College at the DuPont Fieldhouse on January 7, 2025 with a 7:00PM tip off.
