
Blackwood, NJ. – The Salem Community College men's basketball team dropped their first road match up of the season in overtime to Camden County College, 102-93. With the loss the Mighty Oaks drop to 6-2 on the season and end a four game winning streak.
Xavier Brewington scored a career high 22 points connecting on 8 of 12 from the field. Tyrese Fortune added 16 points to go along with a team high 8 rebounds. Sophomore guard Niame Scott scored 14 for the Mighty Oaks while Stefan Phillips contributed 11 points and 6 rebounds on the night.
The Mighty Oaks remain on the road when they will travel to Thaddeaus Stevens Tech. Tuesday December 3. Start time is scheduled for 7:00PM.
