Five In Double Figures Lead The Mighty Oaks Past Bergen

Paramus, NJ. – Salem Community College's men's basketball team used a balanced offensive attack that saw five Mighty Oaks score in double figures to top Bergen Community College in Region 19 play.  

Leading the way for the Mighty Oaks was Dante Brinkley with 21 points on 9 for 15 shooting. Niame Scott and Shaquez Coley-Lewis each finished in double figures off the bench, scoring 16 and 14, respectively to help lead the Mighty Oaks to victory.  Ahmodrion Jones scored 11 for SCC  going an impressive 5 for 6 from the foul line.  Taje'e Jordan dominated on the glass for the Mighty Oaks hauling in 17 rebounds while scoring 10 points for his third double-double of the season.

With the win the Mighty Oaks are now 5-10 on the season.  Men's basketball will return to the DuPont Fieldhouse Tuesday January 30 when they will host the Community College of Philadelphia. Tip-off is slated for 6:00PM.
