Camden Tops Men’s Basketball 78-74

Blackwood, NJ. -  In the tight contest the Salem Community College men's basketball team fell to Camden Community College 78-74. In a back and forth match up the Mighty Oaks just fell short in the final moments of the game.  With the loss the Mighty Oaks drop to 4-8 on the season.

The Salem offense continued its balanced scoring that saw four Mighty Oaks score in double figures led by Dante Brinkley with 18 points.  Freshman guard Niame Scott scored 15, going 4-7 from beyond the three point line. Ahmodrion Jones and Shaquez Coley-Lewis rounded out the Mighty Oaks in double figures with Jones scoring 13 and Coley-Lewis adding 11.  Taje'e Jordan had a solid night pulling 12 boards for SCC. 

Salem will have a short turn around when they travel to Passaic County Community College Saturday January 20 with a 2:00PM tip-off.
