Carneys Point, NJ. – Dante Brinkley scored 21 points for the Salem Community College men's basketball team, but the Mighty Oaks came up short and dropped the contest 98-89 against Atlantic Cape Community College.  The loss drops the Mighty Oaks record to 4-7 on the season.

Brinkley led a solid all around offensive performance by SCC that saw five Mighty Oaks score in double figures.  Ahmodrion Jones and Niame Scott continued their solid freshman seasons both adding 18 to the offense.  Shaqez Coley-Lewis scored a season high 13 points as Enrique Ramos added 12 for Salem. 

The Mighty Oaks have a quick turn around as they will be on the road Thursday January 18 when they travel to Camden County College to face the Cougars.  Tip-off is slated for 7:00PM.
