Toms River, NJ, - The Salem Community College men's basketball team lost a tough Region 19 game to Ocean County College, 68-56.  The Mighty Oaks played tough throughout the the game but fell short in the final minutes of the contest.  

The Mighty Oaks had two players score in double figures to lead the way for Salem offensively. Freshman Jehiah Eldridge was the leading scorer for SCC with 18 points. Guard Dajour McKamey added 16 for SCC with Freshman Jaylen Jenkins contributing 8 on the night.

Salem will be play next on the road when the will play Union County College on the campus of UCC Saturday January 21 at 12:00.
