Mighty Oaks Outlast Ocean CC, 86-70

Carneys Point, NJ. – The Salem Community College men's basketball team continued their winning ways recording their seventh victory in their last eight games.  The Mighty Oaks topped Ocean County College 86-70 in Garden State Athletic Conference action.

Myles Haynes led the way recording another double double on the day, scoring a team high 23 points while adding 11 rebounds.  Haynes has registered a double double in six of the last seven games for the Mighty Oaks.

Two more Mighty Oaks scored in double figures, both scoring 19 on the day.   Paris Hickman scored 19 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 assists on the day. Eric Neal added his 19 points along with 6 rebounds and 7 assists in a solid all around effort from the sophomore guard.

Salem will be back in action Monday February 14 when they will host the Jersey Blues from Brookdale Community College. Tip off will be at 6:00Pm at the DuPont Fieldhouse on the campus of Salem Community College.
