Camden CC Pulls Away From Mighty Oaks, 76-63

Blackwood, NJ. – The Salem Community College men's basketball team returned to the hardcourt Thursday night, when they traveled to the campus of Camden County College to take on the Cougars in Garden State Athletic Conference play.  The Mighty Oaks fell to the Camden 76-63.

"Proud of the fight and effort of the seven guys that were available to play tonight," said Head Coach AJ Williams. "I'm happy the guys were finally able to get back to playing after 23 days off and 3 postponements". 

Antonio Campbell led the Mighty Oaks with a solid performance offensively scoring 34 points on the night.  Myles Haynes added a double-double scoring 12 points and adding 10 rebounds.

"We're going to work very hard to get back to playing unselfish and disciplined basketball", added Williams.  "I am looking forward to finishing the second half of the season strong".

The Mighty Oaks return to action Tuesday night January 18 when they will host the Roadrunners of Rowan College of South Jersey at the Dupont Fieldhouse.  Tipoff is at 6:00PM.
