St. Davids, PA. – The Salem Community College men's basketball team picked up their third consecutive win with a 77-63 victory of the eastern University JV. With the win, the Mighty Oaks move to 5-3 on the season.
"It definitely feels good to win three in a row after losing three tough conference losses", said Head Coach AJ Williams. "It's really helping our confidence as we continue our conference schedule."
Paris Hickman lead the team is scoring with 21 on the night. Hickman was one of four Mighty Oaks in double figures in the game. Eric Neal and Myles Haynes each added 15 apiece for Salem. While Antonio Campbell contributed 12 points in the victory.
"The team has really started to play unselfishly", said Williams. "This is what I envisioned from our guards, they are really not caring who gets the credit."
The Mighty Oaks are back in action when they travel to Passaic County Community College Saturday December 4, when they will face off against the PCCC Panthers in Garden State Athletic Conference play.
