Carneys Point, NJ. – On Tuesday, the Salem Community College baseball team dropped its home opener to Middlesex College 2-1. The Mighty Oaks pitching held up not allowing an earned run on the day, led by starter Jarrett Browning who went 4 solid innings.
Offensively Salem was led by Nick Toms who went 2 for 4 scoring the Mighty Oaks only run. Phil Sedalis added the teams only other hit on the day.
The Mighty Oaks are back in action Wednesday March 2 when they will travel to Mercer Community College to face off against the Vikings in their season opener. First pitch is at 3:00.
