Coach Dan Gavlick is a graduate from Shawnee High School. He continued his baseball career at Burlington County College where he was a two time all GSAC, all Region 19, and All American player. After Burlington CC he went on to Kutzown University where he contributed to their 2006 PSAC championship and the 2007 North Atlantic Region Championship as well as a 2007 Division II world series appearance. 

Prior to coming on as an assistant with Salem Community College, Gavlick coached at Burlington CC in 2008 and 2009.
