Meet The Mighty Oaks Monday!

Alex Williford comes to Salem Community College from his hometown in Georgia where he attended Trinity Christian School- Sharpsburg. His is a member of the SCC baseball team, and studying Education. Williford made the decision to attend Salem Community College, 14 hours from home, because he wanted to get out of his comfort zone, and believed the SCC baseball coaches work not only to make Alex and his teammates great players, but great people.

His favorite memory from the fall season was their scrimmage against Lincoln University. Williford says it felt good knowing that they were bringing baseball back to SCC after a few years without athletics. When he's not playing baseball, Alex enjoys going out with friends, watching sports, playing video games, and fishing.

We look forward to watching Alex and the rest of his teammates resurrect baseball at Salem Community College this spring!
