Our very first camp since the return of athletics was held by coach AJ Williams on July 18th. Coach AJ has experience to share as a high school and collegiate basketball player. He was also an assitant coach for Wesley College, Immaculata University, and Cabrini University. Coach Williams was previously a head coach for Seaford High School, and now serves as the head coach for our Mighty Oaks men's basketball team.

Davidow gym on Salem Comminity College's campus was filled with campers bright and early on July 18th. The day was fun filled and jam packed with instruction from 8am to 4pm for boys and girls ages 6-14. The camp ran for $30 and included hours of instruction, competitions, games, prizes, and lunch.

Coach AJ covered skills from stretching and agility to ball handling and dribbling. Our camp participants competed in basketball drill contests, 5 on 5 games, and free throw competitions. Camp was concluded with a tour of our Salem Community College Campus. The day was a great success, bringing in over 70 participants. We are committed to enriching our community through the return of SCC Athletics. Keep you eyes open for more camps to come!
